Pushing the Boundaries of Miniature Aviation

Our Strategy

We used XFLR5 to analyse airfoil aerodynamics and predict lift, drag, and stability. The conceptual design was then drafted in SolidWorks. We used ANSYS Workbench for Finite Element Analysis to identify critical stress points allowing us to iterate our design for maximum strength and minimum weight. With the optimized geometry finalized, the digital files moved to CorelDRAW translating our 3D CAD models into optimized 2D cutting patterns which Resulted in clean cuts via laser. Laser cutting delivered unmatched precision for the interlocking ribs, ensuring reliable assembly.
